How to install Sky Go on Firestick?
Unfortunately, installing the Sky Go app on a Firestick, Fire Cube, or Fire TV is impossible, despite what you’ve read elsewhere online.
You can download the Sky Go app. However, no matter how many different versions of the app you try or how many other methods or download links you try, they will work!
Websites that provide instructions to enter a URL in the Downloader app or install Sky Go using ES File Explorer, Aptoide TV or Apps2Fire waste your time. Yoit will not work. Screen mirroring or casting to your Firestick will also not work.
You can download and install the Sky Go app successfully, but it will not load. Instead, you’ll probably see an error; “There was a problem starting the application. Error (-20190005). Restart the app and try again.”Or the screen will go blank when you try to play any live TV channel.
How to Screen Mirror/Cast Sky Go to Firestick
Unfortunately. this is not possible. All types of screen mirroring or streaming from the Sky Go app are blocked in the UK.
However, in New Zealand, Sky Go supports streaming via Chromecast from Android and iOS apps and AirPlay to Apple TV devices for iOS users. Sky Go users in the UK will see a blank screen when trying to mirror/cast the screen to another device.
It is unknown why this functionality has been blocked for UK users.
